Hospitality Operations will rebrand and reopen Smile Hotel Furukawa on October 1.
The 12-story building offers a total of 234 rooms: 209 single/semi-double rooms, 18 studio single rooms, 2 double rooms, and 5 twin rooms. Guest rooms are equipped with bidet toilets, televisions, refrigerators, hair dryers, and other amenities.
The hotel features a large public bath for men, a lounge, a relaxation room, a coin-operated laundry, beverage vending machines, complimentary bicycle rentals, and free parking. The men’s public bath offers oxygen-infused water in the morning and carbonated water in the evening on weekdays. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, it offers “Milky Soda,” a combination of oxygen-infused and carbonated water. Breakfast is served buffet-style, with Japanese and Western dishes made using farm-direct vegetables and local specialties.
A rebranding opening commemorative plan, available exclusively through the official website, will be offered through December 30. Rates start from 3,000 yen per person without breakfast and 4,320 yen per person with breakfast, based on two guests sharing a room.
The hotel is approximately a 5-minute walk from JR Furukawa Station and around a 10-minute drive from the Furukawa Interchange (IC) on the Tohoku Expressway.
