AirAsia X will resume its service on the Gold Coast to Auckland route starting from February 3.
This is part of a network review considering demand, and includes suspending the Auckland to Sydney route on January 31. Customers with bookings will be offered refunds or changes. Those who booked from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland via Sydney will have their bookings changed to go through the Gold Coast instead.
AirAsia X, as an airline focusing heavily on leisure demand, views the demand for Gold Coast as high and would consider resuming services if demand recovers.
