Qantas and Air New Zealand to End Codeshare Partnership
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will partner with Nordic coffee company Lykke Coffee Farms to serve new coffee across its entire network from February 2027.
The coffee will be developed specifically to be enjoyed at an altitude of 35,000 feet. The same coffee will also be served in SAS lounges.
SAS customers will also be able to earn EuroBonus points through coffee-related purchases on the SAS Lykke platform.
Lykke Coffee Farms co-owns and operates its coffee business with farmers, managing production methods and the distribution of business value. It trades directly with farmers in Uganda without intermediaries, ensuring traceability from farm to cup.
“Enhancing the quality of the onboard experience is one of our key priorities. Together with Lykke, we will raise the standard of coffee and tea across our network,” said Ingela Alverman-Boriström, Head of Onboard Products and Services at SAS. Johan Damgaard, CEO of Lykke Coffee Farms, said, “Coffee is an essential part of Nordic life, and bringing that culture onboard SAS is a wonderful opportunity.”
