
JAL Starts Operation of A350-1000 on Haneda-Los Angeles Route, Replacing 777-300ER
The Verdi United Services Union has called for a major strike across Germany, affecting public transportation including airports, from February 1st to February 2nd.
The airports affected include Frankfurt, Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover, Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Dresden, Erfurt, and Stuttgart.
In collective bargaining with the Lufthansa Group, around 25,000 employees are demanding a 12.5% salary increase, or at least an increase of 500 euros per month. For security inspectors, they are demanding an increase of 2.8 euros per hour.
Nationwide, airports are expected to strike on February 1st, with local public transportation such as subways striking on February 2nd.
