Sun Frontier Hotel Management rebranded and reopened Hiyori Hotel Flex Hakata on October 29.
All 157 guest rooms have been renovated. The hotel offers five room types: 131 Double Rooms with bench sofas, 5 Superior Double Rooms, 9 Standard Twin Rooms, 10 Standard Twin Rooms with sofa beds, and 2 Deluxe Twin Rooms with sofa beds. All rooms are equipped with Serta beds, 50-inch smart TVs, and multiple power outlets, as well as POLA’s “Aroma Esse Gold” bath amenities and skincare products. Some rooms also feature microwaves. Hair irons, foot massagers, shoe dryers, and other items are available for rental.
The hotel facilities include a lobby, restaurant and lounge, coin-operated laundry, and paid parking. Complimentary services include “Happy Present,” which allows guests to choose an item upon arrival; the guest-exclusive “Flex Lounge” with free drinks; “HIYORI Happy Foam!,” serving alcoholic beverages in the evening; “HIYORI Dashi Chazuke” as a late-night snack; and morning coffee. A breakfast buffet featuring ingredients from Fukuoka Prefecture and local specialties is available for an additional charge.
The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Gion Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line, a 9-minute walk from JR Hakata Station, and about a 15-minute drive from the Chiyo or Gofukumachi exits of the Fukuoka Urban Expressway.
