Etihad Airways announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending December 2023, recording a net profit of 525 million UAE Dirhams.
The total revenue stood at 208.7 billion UAE Dirhams, of which passenger revenue accounted for 166.62 billion UAE Dirhams. The operating profit was reported at 1.447 billion UAE Dirhams.
The passenger count reached 14 million, an increase of approximately 4 million from the previous term, with the seat occupancy rate at 86%, up by 4%. The fleet size has grown to 85 aircraft, an increase of 14 aircraft from the end of the previous term.
The airline announced or initiated operations to 15 cities including Boston, Lisbon, Malaga, Nice, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Mykonos, Santorini, Saint Petersburg, Nairobi, Calicut, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, Bali, and Osaka/Kansai, making the total number of destinations 72.
