JR East Transfers Trains to Thailand State Railway for the First Time: A Total of 20 Series KiHa 40 and KiHa 48 Cars
JR East has transferred used train cars to Thailand State Railway.
The transferred cars include a total of 20 series KiHa 40 and KiHa 48 cars, which were part of the Akita General Rolling Stock Center. This is the first time for JR East to transfer cars to Thailand State Railway. The transferred vehicles are expected to play an active role in Thailand and contribute to strengthening transportation capacity.
