Air France and KLM have completed a major renovation of the Air & Rail Check-In Lounge at Brussels South Station, which opened on March 26.
They provide intermodal transportation combining air and rail travel. On their website, by entering the name of the relevant station, customers can book combinations of air and rail travel. Even when traveling by train, customers can earn miles. In addition, there is a connection guarantee in case of delays in train or flight services. Introduced at Brussels South Station in March 2001, they have sold over 4.5 million seats.
For those using KLM via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, online check-in is available from 30 hours up to 30 minutes before departure. For Air France users via Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, through check-in is also available. The lounge operates from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
