Manza Onsen Ski Resort to Reduce Operations This Season Due to Theft
“Inabe Ageki Base” Reopens on April 11th After Renovation of the Former Ageki Onsen Ajisai no Sato
The Traveling Onsen Dojo has opened the hot spring complex facility “Inabe Ageki Base” on April 11th.
This facility is a renewal of the former Ageki Onsen Ajisai no Sato. “Inabe Ageki Base” consists of three facilities: the Ofuro Cafe Ageki Onsen, Shinkami Shokudo, and AGEKI BASE HOTEL. Reservations for AGEKI BASE HOTEL will start from May.
The Ofuro Cafe Ageki Onsen now features a relaxation space with a fireplace and a paid sauna lounge, themed around “nature and health.” Considering the use for workcations, it has also equipped with Wi-Fi and private work booths. At the sauna lounge “Serow”, visitors can enjoy three types of saunas in swimsuits, together regardless of gender. A courtyard deck features an outdoor air bath space and a cold water bath using well water. The indoor lounge area has an internal air bath space, offering free drinks and books.
Shinkami Shokudo, originally operated as “Kami Shokudo” in the Ageki shopping street for about 8 years, has relocated and renewed with a new interpretation theme. It uses ingredients focusing on natural vegetables from their own farm, “Hachikaze Farm,” which are seasonal, fertilizer-free, and pesticide-free.
AGEKI BASE HOTEL is a container hotel that can accommodate up to 5 guests, consisting of 6 buildings. It is planned to be used as a base in case of disasters.
Access is approximately 3-minute walk from Ageki Station on the Sangi Railway Hokusei Line, and about 10 minutes by car from the Taiheiyo Beltway Oyasu Interchange (IC).
