The Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel is offering the ‘Thanks for the rain – Happy in the Rain!’ promotion from June 6 to 30.
This accommodation plan offers a free breakfast if the probability of precipitation is above 70% on the day of stay. Reservations are required up to three days in advance, and the precipitation probability is based on the forecast announced at 11 a.m. on the day of stay by the Japan Meteorological Agency for the eastern Kanagawa Prefecture area. As a special offer, guests are guaranteed a room on the 35th floor or above and will receive a can of Yokohama Lager Craft Beer. The price per person, based on double occupancy, starts from ¥11,040, including service charge and tax.
On the second floor’s buffet dining Kehell, the ‘Happy Champagne’ plan is available exclusively during weekday dinner times. If the probability of precipitation is above 70% on the day, champagne is offered, and if it is below 70%, sparkling wine is provided instead. Available from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (last order at 9 p.m.) on weekdays, the price is ¥6,500, plus service charge and tax included. Reservations are required five days in advance and accepted for groups of four adults or more.
