JAL Revives the Nodaiwa Eel Cuisine for Pre-bookings on Medium and Long-Haul Flights

Japan Airlines (JAL) has revamped its “EXPRESS MEAL” service exclusively for pre-booking in-flight meals in international business class, offering the “Eel Cuisine” featuring domestically farmed grilled eel from the fifth-generation Nodaiwa.

The service is available from June 1 to August 31. Reservations can be made up to 25 hours before departure. The “Eel Cuisine” has been offered since JAL started the EXPRESS MEAL service in October 2022 until October 2023, and has been popular.

It targets medium and long-haul routes from Tokyo/Haneda and Tokyo/Narita to Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Exceptions include some ad-hoc and charter flights, bookings made through tours, bookings under other airlines’ flight numbers, and flights on standby for cancellation are not eligible.
