JAL Holds Time Sale for Domestic Flight Award Tickets: Up to 2,000 Miles Discount One-way

Japan Airlines (JAL) will hold a time sale for domestic flight award tickets from June 24 to June 25.

The sale is for JAL Mileage Bank members using direct flights on all JAL Group domestic routes, offering a discount of up to 2,000 miles per one-way journey from the base mileage requirement. Reservations can only be made through the website and no campaign registration is required. The travel period is from August 20 to September 30.

However, code-share flights jointly operated with Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA), Amakusa Airlines, and Oriental Air Bridge, as well as the domestic segments of international award tickets and routes from Tokyo/Haneda to Nagoya/Chubu, Tokyo/Narita to Osaka/Itami & Nagoya/Chubu, are excluded.

The discount mileage varies by zone set for each route; Zone A offers a 500-mile discount, Zone B 1,000 miles, Zone C 1,500 miles, and Zones D to G a 2,000 miles discount. For the Tokyo/Haneda to Sapporo/Chitose route, the one-way trip will be 6,000 miles, which means a discount of 2,000 miles from the usual rate.
