Grand Hyatt Fukuoka will offer a Hawaiian Afternoon Tea ‘Tropical Escape’ from July 1 to August 31.
As the first part of a tie-up promotion with Hawaiian Airlines, which celebrates the 5th anniversary of the launch of the Fukuoka-Honolulu route in November, the hotel will serve a Hawaiian afternoon tea using tropical fruits such as mango, passion fruit, and coconut. The menu includes a Hawaiian mocktail welcome drink, six types of sweets including chocolate haupia pie and acai yogurt, three types of savory items including an open sandwich with poke, malasadas, and coconut scones accompanied by three condiments. Drinks offer a selection of 15 varieties including pineapple orange tea, lychee tea, black tea, and coffee.
The venue is the basement level bar lounge “Bar Fizz”. Service hours are from 2 PM to 5 PM (last entry at 4 PM). The price is 5,500 yen. A kids’ afternoon tea (2,800 yen) is available for children up to 12 years old. Both are exclusive of service charge and inclusive of tax.
