Marriott International and Singapore Airlines have initiated a status match targeted at Gold Elite members and above of Marriott Bonvoy.
Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite members can earn the KrisFlyer Elite Silver status by flying with Singapore Airlines twice within six months from the registration date. Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, and Ambassador Elite members, upon earning the KrisFlyer Silver Elite status under certain conditions, can then earn the KrisFlyer Elite Gold status by flying four times with Singapore Airlines within six months from the registration date.
Ordinarily, KrisFlyer Elite Silver members need to earn 25,000 elite miles, and Elite Gold members 50,000 elite miles within a calendar year. Along with earning more miles, additional perks such as complimentary seat selection are also available. Elite Gold members also have lounge access. The validity period for the status is one year. Those who already hold a higher tier of KrisFlyer membership are not eligible for this offer.
Moreover, a status match challenge is also being extended to KrisFlyer Silver Elite members. By staying three nights at eligible Marriott Bonvoy hotels within six months from the registration date, they can earn the Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status.
