JR East has resumed operations on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, which had been suspended due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on the 1st.
The service between Nagano and Toyama stations restarted at 3:20 PM, but is currently experiencing delays. The segment between Toyama and Kanazawa resumed operation this morning.
JR East is advising passengers to check train operations and to consider canceling or changing their travel plans due to expected congestion at each station, which could result in the inability to board the desired train.
