Tokyu Toyoko Line Modifies Its Reserved Seat Service ‘Q SEAT’: Scaled Down to One Carriage and Set to Seven Trains a Day
JR Central announced today that they would operate four ‘Nozomi’ services on the Tokaido Shinkansen with all unreserved seating.
All of these trains are from Tokyo Station to Shin-Osaka Station, departing Tokyo Station at 9:24 am, 10:24 am, 11:42 am, and 12:42 pm. They will make stops at Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Nagoya, and Kyoto stations en route.
Every car is unreserved seating, so passengers can sit using an unreserved seat express ticket. Green car tickets will be sold on board; however, there will be no service for green car mobile orders.
