A reconditioned Boeing 787-8 aircraft (registration number: JA828J) for ZIPAIR Tokyo has arrived at Narita Airport on January 3rd.
The aircraft was transported to Xiamen, China, on November 11th for maintenance work. The transport flight, designated as JL8152, departed from Xiamen at 1:05 AM on the 3rd, took off at 1:34 AM, and landed at Narita Airport at 6:01 AM on the same day. It arrived at Spot 804 at 6:19 AM. The first flight is expected to be on January 6th from Tokyo/Narita to Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi as flight ZG51.
The seating configuration comprises 18 ‘ZIP Full−Flat’ seats that are fully reclinable, and 272 ‘Standard’ seats, totaling 290 seats. With this, ZIPAIR Tokyo’s fleet will expand to eight Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
