CCCMK Holdings and Sumitomo Mitsui Card announced that the new ‘Blue and Yellow V-Point’ program will start on April 22.
The current T-Point and V-Point will undergo a name and logo change. Points can still be used as before, with one point being equal to one yen.
The ‘T-Point App’ and ‘V-Point’ app will be renewed to the ‘V-Point App’ and ‘V-Point Pay App’ respectively. The ‘V-Point Pay App’ will allow users to display their ‘Mobile V-Card’.
Simple procedures for linking T-Points and V-Points can be done through various apps including the ‘Vpass App’, ‘Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation App’, and the ‘V-Point Pay App’. If no linking is done, the points will not be consolidated.
With this change, the number of stores where the ‘Blue and Yellow V-Point’ can be used will expand to 7.5 million locations in Japan and 100 million locations worldwide.
