JR East Releases ‘Kyun Pass’: Unlimited Rides for ¥10,000 on Weekdays Including Shinkansen, Plus New Two-Day Option
JR East’s Shinkansen Unlimited One-Day ‘Tabikyun Early Discount Pass’ to Go on Sale Tomorrow, Valid from February 14
JR East will release the ‘Travel on Weekdays! JR East Tabikyun Early Discount Pass’ on January 14, which offers unlimited travel for one day on all JR East lines including shinkansen bullet trains and limited express trains for 10,000 yen. The pass can be used on weekdays from February 14 to March 14.
In addition to all JR East lines, the pass also covers unlimited rides for one day on ordinary and rapid trains between Joetsu and Arai on the Aoimori Railway Line, Iwate Galaxy Railway Line, Sanriku Railway Line, Hokuhoku Line, and Echigo Tokimeki Railway Line, as well as on non-reserved seats on shinkansen, limited express trains, and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Up to two uses of ordinary car reserved seats on shinkansen and limited express trains are also included. The pass is exclusively sold on ‘Ekinet’ from one month before the use date up to 14 days beforehand. There is no child discount available.
Discount benefits for pass users are available at ‘NewDays’ station shops, major station buildings, and JR East affiliated hotels.
