Finnair has announced that multiple unions are planning a strike from February 1st to 2nd.
The strike could affect around 60,000 reservation holders over the two days. Therefore, for those using the airline from January 31st to February 3rd, changes to reservations will be accepted until March 15th. Tickets that cannot be changed can be modified through the travel agency where they were booked or through Finnair customer care.
Finnair is currently assessing the impact of the strike on flights, but it is clear that there can be significant disruptions, leading to cancellations. The extent of the impact will determine the canceled flights. Additionally, there may also be confusion in ground services, baggage handling, and onboard catering.
