Jetstar Asia Airways has inaugurated its Singapore-Wuxi service on December 28.
Initially, flights will run twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays, with additional operations on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting from January 15. The route is operated using the Airbus A320. This marks the airline’s second entry into mainland China, following the launch of the Singapore-Haikou route at the beginning of 2023.
Air travel volume between Singapore and China has recovered to 70% of the pre-COVID levels. A 30-day mutual visa exemption agreement has also been established between Singapore and China, which is expected to increase demand for both leisure and business travel.
