Japan Airlines (JAL) will make in-flight Wi-Fi free on international flights from February 1st to the 29th.
This is to commemorate the 70th anniversary of their international flight operations, offering free Wi-Fi on all routes and flights operated by JAL. This is the first time JAL is providing free Wi-Fi on its international flights.
To avail of the free service, passengers must access a special survey site via the campaign leaflet onboard or the campaign banner in the online check-in notification email, and answer a survey. A promotional code will be displayed upon completing the survey, which can be entered on the payment screen to make the Wi-Fi service free.
The pricing for JAL’s in-flight Wi-Fi on international flights varies by duration, being $10.15 for one hour, $14.4 for three hours, and $18.8 for 24 hours. Usage of JAL card will result in a discount of up to $2. First Class passengers can avail of the Wi-Fi service for free.
