Emirates Airlines has been appointed as the Global Airline Partner for the National Basketball Association (NBA), entering into a multi-year contract.
It becomes the inaugural title partner for the NBA Cup (formerly the NBAE In-Season Tournament) and the first referee jersey patch partner for the NBA. Starting from the NBA All-Star Game held at 8 p.m. (Eastern Time) on February 18, the Emirates logo will be displayed on all NBA referee jerseys.
During games broadcasted nationwide, the Emirates Airlines logo will be displayed on virtual signage inside the arenas and on the top of backboards. As a partner for select preseason and regular season games, it will also promote to NBA fans worldwide through fan events.
Additionally, on-board entertainment will feature NBA’s full-length documentaries, player profiles, interviews, and more. Co-branded collaboration merchandise will be available for purchase at the Emirates store in Dubai and online as well, with the option for mile exchange.
