JAL Brand Communication has released three types of bags on February 16th, upcycled from en-route charts (aviation maps) that pilots used.
With digitization, the paper en-route charts, which were scheduled to be discarded, have been reused. The materials are recycled polyester and TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane).
The lineup includes the JAL Chart Tote Bag (priced at 11,000 yen including tax), the JAL Chart Shoulder Bag (likewise priced at 11,000 yen), and the JAL Chart Smartphone Shoulder (priced at 6,600 yen). These products are available at JAL Mall.
