IHG to Rebrand and Open ‘ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Okinawa Uruma Hills’ in 2025
Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo Premier Opens on July 31
Mitsui Fudosan and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management will open “Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo Premier” on July 31.
The hotel offers 185 rooms in 8 different types, including Superior Queen. The rooms are designed with a theme of ‘Layered Colors,’ inspired by traditional Kyoto kimono and textiles. The aesthetic is achieved using traditional Japanese colors such as ‘Ume Nezumi’ (plum grey) for wallpapers and ‘Aonibi’ (greenish dusky blue) for curtains and carpets to create a multi-layered ambiance. The design reflects the concept of ‘Omote,’ symbolizing the encounter with Sanjo Street, and ‘Oku,’ offering a relaxed atmosphere.
The two-story atrium lobby lounge is arranged to integrate with the courtyard, creating a space that embodies the concept of ‘Garden and House as One.’ The large communal bath features a design that offers privacy by blocking the line of sight with the walls inside the bathtub. In addition, the hotel houses a fitness gym and a private spa. The restaurant along Sanjo Street serves an international menu using local ingredients and freshly made cheese from studios.
The hotel is accessible within a 3-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Station on the Subway Karasuma Line and Tozai Line, and an 8-minute walk from Karasuma Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line.
