ANA Renews Collaboration Menu for International In-flight Meals
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will renew the collaboration menu for their international in-flight meals for the first time in three years.
Starting in March, they will offer menus supervised by famous chefs from “THE CONNOISSEURS”, including Japanese and Western menus for first class and business class, as well as special in-flight meals.
Previously, these meals were offered only on flights departing from Japan to Europe and America. However, by using the in-flight meal pre-order service available up to 24 hours before departure from the website, it’s now also provided for flights departing from Japan to Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Delhi, and Mumbai.
In first class, from June to August, they will offer a menu supervised by Yoshihiro Takahashi, the 15th head of “Hyotei”, while in business class, from March to May, the menu will be supervised by Ryuta Iizuka, owner chef of “Restaurant Ryuzu”, and from September to November, by Toru Okuda, owner of “Ginza Okuda”, and Masayasu Yonemura, owner chef of “Shinmonzen Yonemura”. For the special in-flight meals available in all classes, they will provide a menu supervised by Hideki Takayama, owner chef of “entre nous” and culinary director of “Landis Taipei Paris 1930 de Hideki Takayama”, starting March 1.
