Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS is revising the administrative processing fee for shopping in foreign currencies with credit cards issued by Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS and its franchisees.
The revision applies to MUFG cards, NICOS cards, and JA cards issued by Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS, as well as MUFG cards issued by franchisees, all of which are for Visa and Mastercard brands.
The service fee will significantly increase from the current 2.2% to 3.85% (including tax). The revision will take effect from the August 13th billing for MUFG cards, and from the August 27th billing for NICOS and JA cards.
Moreover, the fee for American Express and JCB cards issued by Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS will remain at 2.2%, as per July.
