ZIPAIR Tokyo has started selling seat upgrades at check-in counters from March 4.
At check-in, if there are available seats in the ‘ZIP Full-Flat’ which becomes fully flat, an upgrade can be purchased. The eligible routes and prices are from Seoul/Incheon to Tokyo/Narita, costing 10,000 yen, and from Singapore to Tokyo/Narita, costing 40,000 yen. Payment can only be made with a credit card.
Seat upgrades inside the aircraft have also been available for purchase if there are available seats, which can be bought from the in-flight self-order system after takeoff. The sales start after takeoff, with prices ranging from 10,000 yen to 70,000 yen depending on the route.
The Boeing 787-8 aircraft of ZIPAIR Tokyo has 18 ‘ZIP Full-Flat’ premium seats and 272 ‘Standard’ seats, totaling 290 seats.
