StarFlyer has extended the operation period of the wrapping aircraft ‘SEVENTEEN ‘FOLLOW’ THE CITY JET’ (Airbus A320, Aircraft Registration: JA27MC) until June 30.
The aircraft, which started its operation on November 12, 2023, is part of a collaboration with the ‘SEVENTEEN ‘FOLLOW’ THE CITY’ project by HYBE JAPAN, in timing with the Japan Dome Tour of SEVENTEEN, a 13-member group that debuted in South Korea in 2015.
The opportunity for this collaboration was made possible due to StarFlyer celebrating its 17th anniversary and the connection with the name ‘SEVENTEEN’. The design features all 13 members and is wrapped only on the left side of the aircraft.
Onboard, passengers can enjoy drink service with original design paper cups and a limited setlist broadcast of 8 songs, including new tracks, as part of the in-flight entertainment. This broadcast is not available on aircraft equipped with Wi-Fi. The aircraft operates on all routes, and the operation schedule will not be disclosed.
In addition to adding more limited novelty tours from April onwards, a monument actually used during fan meetings will be exhibited at Kitakyushu Airport.
