Delta Air Lines Expands Pre-Order Meal Service to Premium Economy
Delta Air Lines has expanded its pre-order meal service to the premium economy class, “Delta Premium Select”.
Passengers can select their main dish through a link in the app or email from 7 days to 24 hours before departure, and changes can also be made. Until now, this service was offered to passengers of the business class, “Delta One”.
The spring menu’s main dishes include “Creamy Mushroom Sauce Chicken”, “Soy Broth Braised Beef Short Ribs”, and “Spinach and Ricotta Lasagna with Pomodoro Sauce”. The “Soy Broth Braised Beef Short Ribs”, a Japanese dish, were supervised by Norio Ueno, a chef of the Michelin-starred “Ichiju Nisai Ueno”. Since March, the service has shifted from bagasse fiber plates to ceramic ones.
