H.I.S. has revised its consolidated earnings forecast upward for the fiscal year ending in October 2024.
It now expects an operating profit of 10 billion yen (previously announced 9 billion yen), ordinary profit of 9 billion yen (previously 7.2 billion yen), and net profit of 6 billion yen (previously 5.2 billion yen). Revenue is expected to remain at 350 billion yen. In addition, forecasts for the interim results of the fiscal period ending in October 2024 (November 2023 to April 2024) have also been revised upward.
The travel and hotel businesses are performing well, and in Japan, the “First Dream Fair 2024” is doing well, with a larger-than-expected increase in the proportion of package tours. Inbound travel has also benefited from the weaker yen, and customer spend per visit has increased.
