AirAsia X has canceled its plan to launch the Tokyo/Narita to Taipei/Taoyuan route.
Originally, the airline planned to operate one round trip per day starting May 31, using the Airbus A330 aircraft configured with up to 377 seats.
Ticket sales on the website have been stopped, and according to social media, it appears that the company is guiding customers with reservations towards refunds. According to AirAsia’s advertisements, Thai AirAsia continues to sell tickets for the newly announced Okinawa/Naha to Taipei/Taoyuan and Tokyo/Narita to Kaohsiung routes.
