Skymark and Shimojishima Airport Management have extended their campaign to offer free airport access bus services for Miyakojima City residents using the Shimojishima-Tokyo/Haneda route until October 26.
The Miyako Kyoei Bus – Route 9 Shimojishima Airport Resort Line, and Chuo Kotsu – Miyako Shimojishima Airport Liner can be used for free. The campaign started on October 25, 2020.
Those boarding from within the city must present documentation such as a reservation confirmation or check-in barcode, proving their reservation. Passengers boarding from the airport need to show their boarding pass and a document like a driver’s license proving they are a Miyakojima City resident. It is necessary to sign the special boarding ticket handed over by the driver and hand the stub back upon disembarking.
