ZIPAIR Tokyo Launches ‘Zippy’s Chili on Rice’ as In-Flight Meal from Honolulu
ZIPAIR Tokyo has started offering ‘Zippy’s Chili Beans w/ Rice (Chili con Carne Rice)’ from the well-established Hawaiian family restaurant ‘Zippy’s’ as an in-flight meal on flights from Honolulu to Tokyo/Narita.
‘Zippy’s’ is a restaurant founded on South King Street in Honolulu by brothers Francis and Charles Higa. It combines the concept of fast-casual takeout service, casual full-service dine-in restaurant, and a bakery shop, operating 23 stores on Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii Island, and has also expanded to Las Vegas.
The price is 1,700 yen. An additional fee of 250 yen applies for meals served 2 hours before arrival. Sales will start on April 1, with applicable flights departing from April 4 onwards.
