JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) has started additional sales on its website for the ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ for Niigata Prefecture.
The sales are conducted on JTB’s website and through the Rurubu Travel service. Only accommodation is eligible, and tours are excluded.
The ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ is a travel aid implemented for Fukui Prefecture, Ishikawa Prefecture, Toyama Prefecture, and Niigata Prefecture, which were affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Subsidies will be provided for accommodations booked from March 16th to April 26th (with checkout on the following day). The discount rate is equivalent to 50% of the travel cost. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen for accommodation-only and accommodation with transportation packages, 30,000 yen for accommodation with transportation packages for two or more nights, and 35,000 yen for tour-type travels staying in two or more prefectures. The discount applies to domestic travelers and international visitors, excluding business-related travels and accommodations booked before the start of the campaign.
