Delta Airlines has expanded and opened its lounge, ‘Delta Sky Club’ at Miami International Airport on April 9th.
The lounge now spans 12,000 square feet and can accommodate about 300 people. With the expansion, about 4,000 square feet and over 100 seats have been added. It now features single dining tables, communal tables with power outlets, and has introduced a new buffet and drink station.
The design draws inspiration from Miami’s bright colors, sun-drenched beaches, Art Deco architecture, turquoise seas, blue skies, and the white and gold accents found in South Florida’s design.
Delta Airlines plans to open Delta Sky Clubs in Charlotte and Seattle and ‘Delta One Lounges’ in New York/John F. Kennedy, Los Angeles, and Boston this year.
