
Panasonic and Osaka Metro: Trial of Open Air Conditioned Station Waiting Booth Until September
Nishi-Nippon Railroad will operate the ‘N Liner,’ a paid seating train, on the Tenjin-Omuta Line for four days in April and May.
The train will depart from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station on April 19th, May 7th, 17th, and 21st, operating three services each day. The schedule includes ‘N Liner 1’ departing at 9:41 p.m. (towards Omuta Station), ‘N Liner 3’ at 10:11 p.m. (towards Hanabatake Station), and ‘N Liner 5’ at 10:36 p.m. (same). From Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station onward, each train will stop at all stations where the express usually stops. Boarding is only available at Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, with other stations being for disembarkation only.
A boarding rearrangement fee of 300 yen is required in addition to the fare. The train consists of the 3000 series (five-car trainset) with 200 seats available for sale per train. Seat reservation is by car only, and seating is unreserved. Boarding tickets can be purchased on the day of use from the start of the business day (5:16 a.m.) at Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station.
