Sukesan Udon Opens a Pop-up Restaurant in Tokyo for a Limited Time: July 13 to 15
Kura Sushi has opened its 6th domestic global flagship store, ‘Kura Sushi Global Flagship Store Ginza’ on April 25th.
Produced by Creative Director Kashiwa Sato, the store is designed with the concept of ‘Edo Town Entertainment.’ It features a Kura original space, ‘Kura Koedo,’ where visitors can enjoy freshly made sushi, tempura, and dango with performances of making sushi, tempura, and dango in a setting reminiscent of Edo culture depicted in Ukiyo-e woodblock prints by Hiroshige Utagawa.
The interior features the company’s longest conveyor belt at 123.14 meters, decorated with Ukiyo-e prints and lanterns, and adopts a Japanese modern design with plain wood for tables and columns, and tatami seating.
Located in Marronnier Gate Ginza 2, the store has a floor area of 663.25 square meters and 242 seats. Business hours are from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekdays, and from 10:20 AM to 11:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Last orders are taken at 10:30 PM.
