Peach Revamps In-Flight Meals: The Return of ‘Tako Chang’s Takoyaki’, Singapore Chicken Rice, and Tiger Beer
Lufthansa Offers Specialty Bread in Business Class and Lindt Chocolate Upon Descent
Lufthansa Airlines is adding to its business class services.
Passengers can now enjoy a special bread, developed exclusively for in-flight service by Axel Schmitt, a baker named World Baker of the Year 2022. It’s made without additives, using only natural ingredients, and is served with homemade butter and high-quality olive oil. The selection is refreshed quarterly.
Additionally, a new signature drink named “Avionic” is being offered as a welcome drink on long-haul flights. It was developed in collaboration with Sven Livable, an icon of Frankfurt’s bar scene and this year’s host, and distilled by Ziegler, featuring the aroma of peaches and wild meadow herbs.
Vegetarian appetizers are also available, and desserts will include fruits. For snacks, there will be fruit, tomato and mozzarella cheese skewers, and pastrami wraps. Starting in June, passengers will receive a small box of limited-edition Lindt chocolates upon descent.
