Minatoya Management is set to open ‘hotel nansui’ this autumn.
This is a rebrand of the former Hotel Nansui. It’s located on the site of the historic Sakamoto Ryoma residence and is renovated with the concept of ‘a hotel that allows you to “wash” yourself through fulfilling experiences not found in daily life.’ The building has seven floors, offering a total of 33 rooms which include standard rooms and ‘Premium Sauna Suites.’ An all-inclusive plan, covering light meals and alcohol, is introduced for an enjoyable stay.
The hotel features a gallery ‘Ryoma Open Gallery,’ a restaurant ‘Marginal,’ a lobby lounge ‘Reception Lounge,’ a library ‘SHI-SHI Library,’ a self-bar ‘Bar Lounge,’ and a rooftop terrace ‘Yugao Terrace.’ Designed by architect Nobuhito Ashida, it provides an art museum-like lodging experience.
Access is approximately a 2-minute walk from Masugata stop on the Tosa Electric Railway tram line, and about a 15-minute drive from Kochi Motorway Kochi Interchange (IC).
