The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announces the implementation of the ‘Fiscal Year Reiwa 6 Haneda Airport Tour’.
The tour is targeted at residents living around Haneda Airport, offering an exclusive opportunity to visit normally inaccessible areas such as the control tower, restricted areas within the airport, and airline hangars.
The tour dates are August 30, September 3, 7, 10, 14, 16, 20, 21, 26, 29, October 4, 5, 10, 12, running from 1 PM to 5 PM. Each session has a capacity of 30 people and participation is free. Applications are accepted by downloading the application form from the website of the Civil Aviation Bureau of Tokyo and sending it to the specified address by mail. The application deadline is July 16, postmarked.
Eligible participants include residents from Minato, Shinjuku, Koto, Shinagawa, Meguro, Ota, Shibuya, Nakano, Toshima, Kita, Itabashi, Nerima, and Edogawa wards in Tokyo; Saitama City, Kawaguchi City, Koshigaya City, Koshikawa City, Warabi City, Toda City, Asaka City, Shiki City, Wako City, Yashio City, Misato City, Yoshikawa City, and Matsubushi Town in Saitama Prefecture; and Kawasaki City in Kanagawa Prefecture, starting from elementary school students.
