Acure Vending Machines Become Cashless Exclusive at 6 Stations, Along with a JRE POINT 10x Points Campaign
JR East Cross Station will convert its “Acure” vending machines to cashless exclusively at a total of 6 stations on the Yokohama Line and Keihin-Tohoku Line from July 1.
Till now, cashless-exclusive vending machines have been introduced at stations such as Tamachi and Yoyogi. The new cashless initiative will include 40 machines across 6 stations: Yokohama Line’s Ōguchi, Kikuna, Shin-Yokohama, Koganei, Kamoi, and the Keihin-Tohoku Line’s Shinkoyasu.
Payment methods for these machines will include various transit IC cards, electronic money (iD, QUICPay, nanaco, Rakuten Edy, WAON), QR code payments (Alipay, WeChatPay), and JRE POINT.
During the conversion to cashless, a “JRE POINT 10x Points Campaign” will be carried out. The campaign will run from July 1 to September 30. Campaign stickers will be placed on eligible vending machines.
