Toyoko INN Asakusa Kuramae No. 1 in Tokyo to Temporarily Close March 30, 2026 for Renovations
Anabuki Enterprise will reopen Ryokan Kurashiki on August 9.
The renovation includes two wooden buildings that are over 280 and 320 years old, comprising five guest rooms, a restaurant, and private baths. The guest rooms are redesigned for a spacious atmosphere, with all rooms featuring bathtubs made of Koyamaki wood and underfloor heating. The restaurant renovation includes refreshing six booths with a view of the courtyard and adding two semi-private spaces. The private baths have been remodeled to offer views of the garden from the bathtub position and to introduce a semi-open-air design.
