Thai AirAsia is set to increase its flights on the Tokyo/Narita-Kaohsiung-Bangkok/Don Mueang route from October 27.
The news was reported by AeroRoute on June 28 (Japan Standard Time), currently offering flights four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Beginning October 27, the service will operate daily, utilizing the Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The increase follows the extension from an initial service of four flights a week between Bangkok/Don Mueang and Kaohsiung starting February 2, later expanding to include Tokyo/Narita from May 16. Thai AirAsia operates a total of 22 flights a week to Japan, covering Tokyo/Narita, Fukuoka, and Okinawa/Naha.
