Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro will host a ‘Nighttime Insect Collecting Activity’ from July 19th to August 11th.
The hotel invites Mr. Yoshiyuki Yamamoto, a local known as ‘Bug-Catching Uncle Yama-chan,’ to lead an activity where participants, children staying at the hotel and their guardians, can collect beetles and stag beetles while exploring the mountains around the hotel.
The price is 800 yen (tax included) per person. The activity takes place from Friday to Sunday, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. In case of rain, the activity will be canceled, and each child will receive a pair of either a beetle or stag beetle (male & female).
