JAL Now Allows Mile Exchange for SoftBank Game Tickets

Japan Airlines (JAL) has started allowing the exchange of JAL Mileage Bank miles for Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks game tickets.

Exchange for tickets to Giants games started in March, and from July, for games against the Hanshin Tigers and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Applications for rewards are accepted on the JAL website and will end once capacities are reached. Eligible participants are JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members residing in Japan. The eligible dates are from August 10 to October 4, for SoftBank’s home games held at the PayPay Dome in Fukuoka. Children under the age of 4 do not need a ticket if they watch the game on a lap.

Available ticket types include “Coca-Cola Seat A (1st base side)” (2 tickets per day), with limited availability for “JAL Skyview Seat (5th floor)” (8 tickets per day) and “SUPER BOX” (private box, up to 8 people) on certain dates. “Coca-Cola Seat A” provides the closest seat to the field at the same level without a protective net. “JAL Skyview Seat” offers a viewing area with massage chairs and buffet-style meals. “SUPER BOX” provides a room with a balcony and access to a private lounge, where you can enjoy a course or a la carte meals (pre-registration required). The number of miles required for exchange starts from 33,000 miles for “Coca-Cola Seat A” for two, and from 15,000 miles for “JAL Skyview Seat”. Details of reward exchange for games from mid-September will be announced later. Tickets will be mailed to the address registered with JAL Mileage Bank approximately one week before the game date.
