LOT Polish Airlines will resume operations on the Warsaw-Lyon route from September 30.
The service will operate six round trips a week, excluding Saturdays. The flight time is 2 hours and 20 minutes from both Warsaw and Lyon. The Embraer E195 aircraft will be used.
This resumption aims to meet the increasing demand for direct flights between central and eastern France. Lyon is a popular destination for tourists due to its unique history, remarkable cultural heritage, and film legacy, as well as being a favorite among winter sports enthusiasts. It had been identified as a new destination in the airline’s network strategy leading up to 2028.
