Matsuya Beef Bowl Opens its First Store in Hong Kong on August 11
Matsuya Foods Holdings is set to open its first Hong Kong branch of “Matsuya” on August 11, in Jordan’s Tsuen’s London Plaza, through its local subsidiary.
The establishment of Matsuya Foods Hong Kong on January 9 was aimed at expanding the food and beverage business in Hong Kong. The restaurant will have 45 seats and cover an area of 3,224 square feet. The store’s design will follow the simple Japanese style with a wood motif, characteristic of “Matsuya” in Japan.
Founded in 1966, Matsuya Foods offers beef bowls, curry, set meals, and other bowl dishes through “Matsuya”, in addition to pork cutlet “Matsunoya”, curry “My Curry Diner”, sushi “Sushi Matsu”, Chinese-style ramen “Matsukyo Chinese Diner”, and steak at “Steakhouse Matsu” and “Matsugyu”. In Japan, it operates 1,274 stores, with an additional 18 stores overseas in China and Taiwan, and a franchise in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
The operating hours will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
