The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is set to open the “Mandarin Oriental Rome” in 2026.
This is a partnership with Melope Asset Management, marking the group’s fifth property in Italy. The hotel will feature a total of 108 rooms, including suites that are renovated villas built in the 19th century. Amenities will include six restaurants and bars, such as an al fresco style outdoor restaurant and the Mandarin Bar offering views of Rome from its rooftop terrace. Additionally, it will offer six treatment rooms, one VIP treatment suite, a rock sauna, a sunbathing deck, a fitness center, and an indoor/outdoor pool area surrounded by gardens.
Gilles & Boissier are in charge of interior design, Dimorestudio is handling the dining facilities, and Parco Nuovo is responsible for the landscape design. The property is located between Via Piemonte and Via Sallustiana, within the ancient Roman site of the “Sallust Gardens”.
