Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Park Hyatt Sapporo in 2029, following a hotel management agreement with an affiliate and Heiwa Real Estate.
Situated at the intersection of Odori Park and Ekimae Avenue within the Odori Nishi 4 Minami District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project, the hotel will occupy floors 4 and 27 through 35 of the redevelopment, providing views of Odori Park. It will feature 157 guest rooms, dining facilities, banquet halls, a spa, and an indoor pool.
Park Hyatt represents Hyatt’s highest tier in its “Timeless Collection” brand, and its launch in Sapporo will mark the fourth location in Japan, alongside Tokyo, Kyoto, and Niseko.
With the addition of the Park Hyatt Sapporo, Hyatt will have two hotel establishments in the city – including the Hyatt Centric Sapporo, scheduled to open in 2026.
